Wingstop is an American chain of retro, roughly aviation-themed restaurants specializing in a fantastic variety of chicken wings and sauces. Offering a 1930s-1940s "pre-jet" style aviation theme (think metal planes, but not fast ones), quality chicken wings, and a stunning variety of sauces from the mildest of the mild to "Atomic" hot, Wingstop has grown to boast over 1,200 restaurants worldwide.

Wingstop is publicly owned, as of their IPO in 2015; previously, it was owned by Gemini Investors, then Roark Capital Group. Roark is invested in companies like the Cheesecake Factory, Carvel, Cinnabon, Jamba Juice, Carl's Jr, Green Burrito and others; it has invested previously into multiple smaller technology companies and startups.

Wingstop is best known for its "Retro Aviator" style of decor and its quality wings and sauces.
