The OUYA is a new video game console built on top of Android 4.1 (Jellybean). The company encourages its users to create games and play on their OUYA console. The OUYA allows you to play Android games on the TV. The console comes with 1 controller, extra controllers cost $49.99. The console allows you to try games before you buy and allows you to install and use Android Apps.

Pros

Games published on the system is required to have Free to try (demos), trials, or be Free to play with in-game shops.  The OUYA is cheaper than the upcoming Microsoft Xbox One, Sony Playstation 4. The OUYA console is good for adults and children who want to create their own games. Allows the user to install Android Apps that are not official OUYA apps.

Cons

Since the console is new, the OUYA has bugs and updates that will be rolling out to fix the console. Games are nothing unique compared to other Android games. Not the best console to get if you are a hardcore gamer that want next generation graphics. The console may require you to have some knowledge about Android. Some games in the OUYA marketplace are not designed well to use the OUYA controller.
