This is the perfect zoom point and shoot digital camera as it's thin, lightweight and full of features. For starters, it has a 25mm wide-angle lens with 12x optical zoom, optical image stabilization. You can also shoot 720p HD video with stereo sound using the dedicated movie button. You can use SDHC memory cards. It has a 3" LCD viewing screen. Uses standard AA batteries.

While it may not be the right camera for shooting fast-moving subjects, DPReview said this camera takes good pictures, good low light performance, and has a nice long zoom lens.
