This is currently a great deal for a fast desktop replacement notebook with a speedy Intel Core i5 processor.

Design – Optimal Use

It weighs 5.5lbs and has a large 15.6" screen, Upto 7 hours battery life, reasonable for the "on the go" types. However, it has an average amount of memory and a 4th generation Intel CPU with enough power to handle pretty much all home or small office and student tasks like browsing, email, office applications, etc. Good sized hard drive should handle any chores. Gamers however should look for a purpose-built notebook with a faster processor and discrete graphics chip. No optical drive.
