This has a f/2.0 lens which allows more light to come in, so you get better photos in low light situations without using a flash. We used to own this camera before moving up to a DSLR and can vouch for its powerful low light shooting due to the f/2.0 lens.

Design

The Canon PowerShot S110 is small and takes beautiful pictures. The lens isn't super fast, so we recommend to use for still shots. This camera is great to bring along when you travel. We've had this camera and found its low light performance very good.  It also has a GPS for automatic geotagging. The zoom even works as you are taking video.  We've owned this camera and found it works great.  Shutter lag is a bit longer than faster DSLRs.
