This model has a much bigger 15.6" HD screen, compared to the usual tiny Chromebook 11" screen.

If a tablet isn't quite enough for you but many laptops are too much, this might be your PC. It runs the Chrome operating system (and Chrome web browser) and includes a 16GB solid-state (like an SSD) hard drive that means it starts in seconds. It has virus protection built-in and runs your favorite Google apps and has a 74-key keyboard. Has a built-in webcam and dual band Wi-Fi.

It's not the right choice for much more than web surfing, email and other light-duty tasks, but if that's the majority of your usage, it's a light 4.85 lbs. weight, 0.97 inches thinness and up to a long 9 hours of battery life may be just what you're looking for. Travel and cyber cafes are another good use for this. Some users didn't like that you can't change the web browser, but if you're in the Chrome camp already, it's a good choice.
